3. Will Michael Romeo's 'Guitar Chapter' ever be re-released? |
MICHAEL ROMEO - There are no plans as of yet. I haven't really pursued this much because I'd really like to do a new video or even a book/CD instructional with examples and play along tracks. Something a bit more than just a "licks" video. The GC doesn't really get to into theory or constructing solos/songs as much as I would have liked. It has some licks and solos from some songs..but that's about it. I'd like to have something that is actually useful to players and will inspire new ideas for them...getting into advanced theory, rhythmic and phrasing ideas, different scales and techniques, and being applying these into to their own music... not just learning licks.

4. Will Michael Romeo release another solo cd? |
MICHAEL ROMEO - I get asked this a lot. I would love to do one, there are a lot of things I have laying around in the studio that I have written, but never completed. I am always finding DATs and tapes of ideas that I had. The problem is time. The band is always the priority and we are always doing something. Over the last few months, though, I have actually started to gather all the old stuff, as well as new things, and organize everything. So the answer is "yes", I will do one, it just may take some time.

5. Are there any official Symphony X tabs books? Are there any plans to publish any? |
MICHAEL ROMEO - There is a Symphony X songbook available in Japan. The band is considering getting access to that book and making it available everywhere. But...if that doesn't happen. We would like to make a new one available. This way, songs from The Odyssey would be included. We will keep you posted as things progress.

6. Where can I find Symphony X bootlegs? |
The band's official stance is strongly against bootlegs, for many reasons including lack of quality control. For this reason, no official Symphony X affiliate, including websites, mailing lists, and forums, sanction the trade of bootlegs nor information thereof, as a matter of respect for the band.

'Live in Europe' was the original working title for the cd, but none were ever actually produced under that name. However, some places still erroneously list the cd as such.
